Description
Join Twende Solar for a casual summer gathering on Vestas' solarized roof terrace in the historic Meier & Frank warehouse (downtown Portland). Engage with other renewable energy professionals and enthusiasts as Twende presents footage from its recent Guatemala installation and introduces its upcoming project in Cambodia. Guests will be invited to close out the evening with a silent disco dance party as the sun sets over the west hills.
Tickets are $25 per person*, and include light appetizers provided by World Foods Portland, access to silent disco headphones for live silent disco DJ sets by dRey, REsy, and TySun, and so much more. Base Camp Brewing Company beer will be available for purchase.
All proceeds support Twende Solar's upcoming 26kW solar PV install on the Stephen Mazujian Middle School in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older—all guests must bring a state issued identification card to purchase alcohol and to use silent disco headphones. Silent Disco Headphones generously donated by Thick Posse Productions.
*Tickets purchased by 3:00 PM on August 25th are eligible for one complimentary beer ticket—good for one Base Camp Brewing Company beer during the event!
